Note Card with Free Cards and Envelopes from Upcoming Sale A Bration

These cards were made using the Free Note Cards and Envelopes available for Sale-A-Bration in July and August.  I fell in love with the soft feel of these two card fronts.  This certainly makes card making simple. The backgrounds are done for you and the envelopes are great.

Here is what I did with the inside of the card.  You can cut several pieces for the inside with one embossed piece.

Abigail Rose Fun Fold Birthday Card

I had been ready to work more with this suite, and am pleased with the result.  I love fun folds and it is a good challenge to come up with variations.  This double flap fold allowed me to show off the pretty DSP and still make the card stand up for viewing.  I may yet do something with more blend coloring, but I wanted the coloring to be simple.  Using the daubers made the coloring easy, and you can make the color more intense if you choose.  This design allows the sentiment to be just about anything.

Here are a couple of snapshots of the inside of the card.  I believe that the front flap inside can be cut with the dies.  It is so cool that the ribbon can be stamped that has all kinds of possibilities.

There is plenty of room for your sentiment on the inside of the right flap.  When open the full inside shows off more of the pretty flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fun Fold Feel Better Soon Cottage Rose Card

Thanks to Wanda Williams, who brought the card to our team.  And especially to Melissa Kerman, “Melissa’s Crafting Treehouse”, for the design.

Well, the sentiment was from Cottage Rose, but the paper is from Hues of Happiness! I am sure you figured that out already.  Also it is listed correctly under the “Show More” section under the Video.

I just love this crazy color combination, it works!  You really can adjust your circle size.  Or for that matter any kind of a label can be used for closure.  I may still play around with using that green from the leaves on the card, maybe in the circle matt and the matt for the closure tab.  It is so much fun to have a different gatefold card.

Measurements and Supplies for today’s Fun Fold Cottage Rose Feel Better Soon Card:

  • I used a Gorgeous Grape card base 4 ¼” by 11”, scored and folded at 1 7/8” then fold back to the flap to score, see video, then you will need a small piece 1” by 3”, and a piece of scrap for the matt Circle on the front of the card
  • Next, Basic White 3 ¾” by 5” for layering on the inside, and a piece of scrap for the sentiment circle on the front of the card
  • Hues of Happiness DSP, 3 panels 1 5/8” by 4”, 1 piece ¾” by 2 ¾” for the front and a piece ½” by 3 ¾” for the inside
