This Card will be for my son and daughter in law, upcoming anniversary. They are all about Art Deco and this card fits that look. It is a simple card and the design is very adaptable. You could choose any DSP and pick two complimentary colors for the strip on the inside and to the left on the front of the card and this design would work.
Measurements and Supplies for today’s Simply Elegant Anniversary Card:
I used a Basic Gray Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, and a piece of scrap for the sentiment ¾” by 1 7/8”
Next, Smokey Slate 1 piece 4” by 5 ¼” for the inside, and a small piece ¾” by 1 ¾” for the sentiment
Then a piece of Silver Foil ¾” by 5 ¼”
3 pieces of Mango Melody. The first piece is 1” by 5 ¼”, the second piece is ¾” by 5 ¼” and the third is 2” by ¾” to back the sentiment
Simply Elegant Specialty DSP A piece 5 ¼” by 3 ¼” for the front of the card and 1 piece ¾” by 5 ¼” for the inside of the card.

Back to my stash again. I am determined to revisit many of the lovely stamp sets and papers that are available to us from and Annual Catalog before it retires in early May. This card used a die set I haven’t used before, the Encircled In Beauty dies, and I love the way it came out. The Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper is just so beautiful. Accenting the paper with Gold Foil leaf accents, really set off the design. when was the last time you rounded corners? Sometimes we forget the simple little things that can enhance a design.

This is a bit of a different Fold, the card folds up from the bottom. Because of the piece at the top of the card it will still stand independently. I fell in love with this tulip paper from the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. This one was fun. I was inspired by one of my Team Members Andrea Budd who did a fold from the bottom like this card but I don’t believe it stood on its own. I saw it for a brief moment on one of out team meetings on Zoom and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. So I am sure that this one is a bit different than Adrea’s card, but that is where the general idea came from.
I made the first card with stamped tulip images and I do like this one with the die cut images much better. Here is a look at the card from the inside.
I used:
Basic White, 4 pieces, first, a thick card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, I then cut 1 ½”off of one end of the card
second, I cut a piece 2 ¾” by 8 ½” and trimmed 1/8” off of one end
third, I cut a piece 5 ½” by 2 1/8” inches for the inside of the card and lastly I used a piece of scrap to stamp and die cut the sentiment.
Rich Razzleberry, 9 pieces – 3 pieces 5 ½” by ½” 1 piece 2 ¾” by ½” and 3 pieces 1 ½” by ½” and a piece of scrap large enough to stamp and die cut 3 Tulips Evening Evergreen, a piece of scrap large enough to stamp and die cut the stems and leaves for the flowers
DSP 3 Pieces – 2 pieces 5 ½” by 1 ½”, and 1 piece2 ¾” by 1 ½”
