This simple project really spoke to me. I have learned a lot through this difficult time. The simple question: what will you never take for granted again, inspired using this lovely little journal. The idea of being grateful every day for what I do have is very appealing. The journal itself, has lots of pretty decoration inside, so I only added the cover.
I used the following to decorate my journal:
A Pressed Petal Journal along with
1 Copper Dotted Treat Bag, plus
1 piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 4” by 5”
And finally 1 piece of Basic Black Cardstock 4” by 5”
This was a fun project. What will you never take for granted again? What are you grateful for?
This sweet card came to me as a SWAP. I have made only minimal changes to the design. If you know who made this card, please let me know so I can give them proper credit. I removed the linen thread and added the framing layers in Mango Melody and Purple Posy, I think it makes the birds pop.
Here are the measurements for this card:
I used a Whisper White Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 pieces 3 ¾” by 5″ of Purple Posy
and lastly 2 pieces of Mango Melody 4 7/8” by 5 1/8”
1 each of the Purple Posy and Mango Melody are used on the inside of the card and the card front.
This lovely card was inspired by one of the ladies on my Stampin’ Up! Team, Vicki Bogenberger. She sent me the Pink card shown in the picture, completed in Flirty Flamingo, and the other two are those which I made using her design. The two that I made were done in Lovely Lipstick and in Highland Heather. This is a card that is suitable for any occasion.
Card Measurements:
I used a Highland Heather Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”,
Then 1 piece 3 ¼” by 5 ¼”, plus 2 strips ½” by 4” and one long enough to stamp your chosen sentiment, then trim to fit, all in Highlalnd Heather
Next I used 1 piece of Vellum, Cardstock 3 ¼” by 5”
Finally I used 2 pieces of Whisper White 4” by 5 ¼”, one for the inside and one for the front of the card
Thanks for watching!! Thanks to Vicki from my team, and as always let me know if I can help in any way.
