I love this card, the card is designed as a birthday card for a guy. However, this simple design holds appeal for almost any occasion with different sentiments.
This was such a fun card to make, it is simple and classic at the same time.
Measurements and Products for the Country Road Birthday Card:
I used Very Vanilla Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼ ”
Then 2 pieces of Soft Suede 4” by 5 ¼”, for layering on the inside and the card front
I also used 2 Piece of Very Vanilla 3 1/8” by 4 ½”, for both the inside and the card front
Finally I used some of our Burlap Ribbon on the front of the card

I hope you give this one a try. In addition to the products listed below I used three Markers, Real Red, Mango Melody and Old Olive.
This Card is done in soft pastels and uses the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. It is a lovely card for Mothers’s Day, and can be easily adapted for birthdays, or note cards.
Paper and Measurements:
I used a Whisper White Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼ ”
I then used 2 pieces of Bird Ballad 4 1/8” by 5 3/8”, plus one additional Bird cut with a small stitched nested die
You will also need a piece of Petal Pink large enough to cut out the birds on the Front of the Card; at least 4 1/4″ by 2 1/2″
Lastly I used 2 Pieces of Whisper White cut with the 3rd largest of the Stitched rectangle dies approximately 4 ¼” by 2 7/8”
