This is my First Valentines Card Design for this 2020 season. This Pretty Designer Series paper makes this card a very easy one to make.
I used the ‘Heartfelt’ Bundle to make the card. The Punch Pack that comes with this bundle ads to the ease of making this card.
Measurements:
The Card Base is Whisper White and measures – 8 ½ “ by 5 ½ “ folded and scored and 4 ¼ “. You will also need a layering piece at 4” by 5 ¼ “ for the front of the card and one at 3 ¾ “ by 5” for the inside of the Card. The Flirty Flamingo you will need is 1 piece at 4 1/8” by 5 3/8” for the front of the card and one piece at 4 “ by 5 1/4 ” for the inside of the card. From the ‘From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper’ you will need a piece that is 4″ by 5 ¼ “ cut on the diagonal, this will give you enough material to make two cards. The hearts on the Front of the card were punched from the Specialty DSP and raised on dimensional.
Here are the video instructions:
I hope you give this one a try. it is an easy and striking card.
I was so Lucky this Holiday season to have my youngest son Steven and daughter in law Julia here from Los Angeles. Julia’s mother, Jackie came a couple of days after Christmas from Wisconsin, such a nice treat. Speaking of Treats we had the opportunity to have Christmas Tea at the Brown Palace Hotel. When the Hotel is “dressed” for Christmas it is Spectacular!
It is a lovey holiday tradition. I make it a special point to get there during the season at least once.
Every year in December for the Christmas Holiday I have a very special Card Class. We have a class where we make eight cards, and then I hold a Christmas Tea for all of the participants. Instead of paying for the class I ask the participants to spend their money on toys and gifts for children. We then donate all of the gifts to a local church, Sacred Heart, whose congregation is often in need of assistance, for their Christmas Party. I generally have an SUV full, full, full of gifts for the church.
Yes, we wear hats and have a bit of fun. I have collected Tea paraphernalia, and hats, for many years and could easily serve 50 guests for Tea at my house!
