This is the first in a series, showing how to use the soft Pastel Assortment, chalks, from Stampin’ Up! this technique is using just a dab of Water added to the chalk dust, with which to paint your images. Lots of fun, and you can get lighter or darker images depending on how much you color and re-color the image. There are so many ways to use the pastels that I will have two more videos coming with additional material.
I think this would make a lovely set of thank you cards to use as a gift for someone. Start now, make all of the colors in the Pastel assortment and have a few cards for gifts for the Holidays. If you are like me I need a lot of time to organize those kinds of projects.

These Designs are so pretty. The technique is not difficult, it is however a little fiddly. I definitely love the results. I know that you have a ton of leftover images and leaves so that putting one of these together might help you with reducing your stash. This would be a lovely way to use up some of that material. I hope you give it a try. Do, and let me know how you did.
