World of Good

This is such a classy suite. I can imagine all kinds of masculine birthday cards, father’s day cards, graduation cards etc. The touches of brass in the designer series paper makes this paper just stunning. I love the embossing folder too. For this card I borrowed the beautiful swirl from the Painted Poppies Bundle.

Measurements:

I used:

  • A very Vanilla Base 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4, and a piece 3 1/2″ by 4 3/4″ for the inside
  • Then two pieces of Early Espresso 4 1/8″ by 5 3/8″, one for the inside and one for the front of the card
  • Two Pieces of Misty Moonlight 4″ by 5 1/4″
  • Brass Foil Paper 3 1/2″ by approx 6″

This is a lovely versatile suite of products and I know I will return to it often.

Answers to my Questions of the Week Posts.

Good Morning.

I am struck by all the wonderful answers posted for my questions of the week.  They lead me back to something I know is true.  Being present, appreciating the moment, is critical.  There is nothing we can do to change the past and we may be able to influence the future; but what we have complete control over is now!  Appreciate what and who we have now.  It’s a simple thought and yet it is so difficult to do.

We are often looking for what’s next, instead of what is right in front of us this minute. Don’t discard the opportunities to have an impact minute by minute.  It can change the way you live your life, it has changed mine.  I do strive, imperfectly, to live who I want to be day by day.

Warmly,

Linda B.
