This bold card was inspired by working with the pigment sprinkles from my April 2020 online technique class. This time I used some of the bold Designer Series Papers, generally the backside of the papers. Many of our DSP designs offer bold watercolor or pallet knife designs on the back side of the paper.
Measurements and supplies for today’s Card.
I used a Bermuda Bay Card Base 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4
Next I cut the Mountain Ridges to be at least 4 1/4″ wide from various DSP papers
I am definitely in the mode of using retiring DSP, and am stuck in Perennial Essence, lol. I love the little pieces of lace on this one and the surprising DSP die cut on the inside. Cards like this, that decorate the outside and the inside at the same time are favorites of mine. This card could easily be horizontal by just relocating the sentiment. Also, the sentiment could be easily changed to reflect almost any occasion.
For This Card I used:’
A Whisper White Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
and scrap for your sentiment and white backing flower strip
Then I used 2 pieces of So Saffron 4” by 5 ¼” to layer the inside and the front of the card
1 piece of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper 3 ¾” BY 5”
