I love the simplicity of this card and yet it is very striking. There is lots of contrast in the colors, which I think adds to the drama of the card. This one could easily carry just about any sentiment. Stamping the sentiment on the card before embossing it Is something I really like doing.
Measurements and Products for today’s Pressed Petals Note Card Measurements:
- I used a Mossy Meadow Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”.
- Mossy Meadow was used to back the sentiment and frame the DSP, you will need about a quarter sheet to cut these pieces
- Next are 2 pieces of Very Vanilla 4” by 5 ¼” to layer the inside and the front of the card
- Finally, 1 piece of Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper sufficient to cut the oval and the trim inside and outside of the card is needed
