These are the final techniques used for the Pastel Assortment
- using Blending Brushes to apply the chalk
- to tear tape and
- Directly to a card front
- Paint with pastel chalk using a small amount of water or alcohol
- Using the chalk directly to the card front
- Using Versa Mark to stamp an image and then applying the pastel with a dauber
- Using Versa Mark and adding pastels with a blending Brush
- Using a Blender Pen with the chalk
- using Versa Mark partially on paper and adding just a bit of pastel as an accent
I have since thought of using a Mask and Versa Mark and adding chalk and mixing some of the chalk powder with our paste. Those could both be quite interesting as well.

Linda,
I am new to the Stampin Up Family although I’ve started very late in life. I love to watch your UTube videos and I learn so much. Today I watched you describe the Mini-Catalog for July-Dec 2021 and I was amazed how much I learned although I have been perusing it a lot. Thank you so much for doing this and pointing out how you might use the papers, stamps, etc. It was inspiring to me. I love the cards you make and I always learn something new each time I watch you..
