This lovely hummingbird is from the Touch of Ink Stamp Set Available for free in the Sale A Bration Catalog for a $100 order. I will get back to this one because there are so many beautiful images here you could make a ton of just lovely cards.
Here are the measurements for today’s A Touch of Ink Thank You Card”
I used a Whisper White Base 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”. Then I added 2 pieces of Just Jade 4” by 5 ¼”. Finally 2 pieces of Whisper White 3 ¾” by 5”. The pieces for this card are dictated by the colors you use for your bird or your flowers. You can have fun on this one with different color combinations.
Oh my gosh isn’t this paper and embossing folder spectacular? I just love it. There is a die for this as well I will get in and make something soon. This design is so simple to make, the paper makes the difference. I can see sponging over the top of the image with ink. Or adding ink to the embossing folder before setting the Image, so many possibilities.
Here are the measurements for today’s Sand and Sea Friend Card:
I used a Pool Party Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”. Then there are 2 pieces of Pearlescent Specialty Paper 4” by 5 ¼” for layering inside and on the front of the card. Finally I used a small piece of scrap to emboss a small piece for the inside decoration.

I love this Suite! I just can’t keep my hands off of this beautiful paper. Here is my latest creation. One card is made with a Whisper White Base and the second is made with a Poppy Parade base. Measurements are listed below for both versions. You will have to let me know which you prefer. I really like both, although the Poppy Parade base looks a bit richer to me. I will get on with making some cards from other parts of the Catalog as well as from the Sale A Bration Catalog before I come back to this one. Sigh!
Measurements for today’s cards:
Card #1 – Whisper White Base:
For the Whisper White Card Base I used an 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”, plus a piece of scrap for the sentiment
Then I used 1 piece of Poppy Parade 4” by 5 ¼” for the inside and
2 additional pieces, 1″ piece by 5 1/4″
and 1 piece 1/2″ by 5 1/4″, to emboss for the front and the inside of the card
Next 1 piece Whisper White 3 3/4″ by 5″ for layering on the inside
3 pieces of DSP 2 Fine Art Floral
1 for the Card Front 4″ by 5 1/4″,
& 1 for the oval medallion on the card front
1 piece of the Golden Garden Designer Acetate for the Card Front 4″ by 5 1/4″
and finally2 pieces of Mossy Meadow,
1 3/4″ by 5 1/4″ for the inside of the card
and 1 piece big enough to cut the matting oval for the card front
Card #2 – Poppy Parade Base:
For the Poppy Parade Card Base I used8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then I used, 2 pieces of Poppy Parade, 1″ piece by 5 1/4″
and 1 piece 5/8″ by 5 1/4″ to emboss for the front of the card and the inside decoration
Next, 1 piece of Whisper White 4” by 5 ¼” for layering on the inside of the card 1 Piece of Whisper White Scrap for the sentiment
3 pieces of DSP – 2 Fine Art Floral
1 for the Card Front 4″ by 5 1/4″,

Todays Video contains my five full card alternatives for the December Paper Pumpkin Kit, titled “Beary Comforting”. The material in this kit is beautiful. Colors used aren’t normally ones that I would put together, but they work.
Just getting started? Paper Pumpkin Kits are definitely something to consider, the kits are all inclusive. Starting this way is inexpensive and allows you to accumulate stamp sets and a few supplies.
There is always material left and with a little bit of imagination you can graduate to using the material a bit differently to make many more cards than are suggested.

I just love this suite, Dragon Flies are beautiful. The paper in this DSP is so pretty. This simple card is one that could carry almost any message.
Measurements for today’s Dragonfly Thank You Card:
I used a Whisper White Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then for the front of the card I used 2 pieces of DSP from Dandy Garden
The first is cut 3″ by 5 1/4″, for the floral piece
the second piece is cut 1 1/4″ by 5 1/4″, for the purple accent piece
I also used two pieces of Blackberry Bliss
the first is cut 4” by 5 ¼” for the inside of the card
the second is die cut from a piece of scrap using the second smallest rectangle from the stitched rectangle dies
and finally a piece of Whisper White for the inside of the card Cut at 3 3/4″ by 5″

Isn’t it fun to look forward to something besides Christmas Cards. This lovely bundle provides that beautiful floral Spring like look, using the Fine Art Floral Bundle, and the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate. The cards are very cheery, I am planning to use mine to make gift card sets for Christmas. So, I made them as Birthday, Congratulations, Thanks and Thinking of You cards. You could easily add a get well soon card to the mix. They together make a very nice gift card set.
