Well, this paper pumpkin kit was a true challenge for me. The theme of this kit didn’t appeal to me at all, so I ignored the theme and made very different cards. I hope you like these alternatives.
I made Birthday Cards, a Friend Card, even a Christmas Card. In the end it was a fun kit to think through. I love a challenge
In addition to the Kit materials I used a few Whisper White Card Bases, 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″ Scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
I so love autumn and fall Cards. This message really could say anything, Thinking of You, Happy Birthday; this one says wishing you well. I do truly love the traditional fall colors.
Measurements:
I used a Very Vanilla card base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”, plus one large piece of scrap for the stamping and cutting of the fall shapes
Next I used a piece of Copper Foil Paper ¾” by 5 ¼”
Then 2 pieces of Cajun Craze 4” by 5 ¼”
and 1 additional piece of Very Vanilla 3 ¾” by 5”
Scraps of some combination of Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Cinnamon Cider were all used
Don’t you just love fall cards. I do believe they are some of the prettiest of the year. This one could easily have a birthday or thinking of you theme. This also makes a spectacular masculine card as well. it works for so many things. I love this stamp set!
Measurements:
I used a Very Vanilla card base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
plus one piece of scrap for the sentiment
Next I used 2 pieces of Copper Foil Paper 4 1/8” by 5 3/8”
and last 2 additional pieces of Very Vanilla 4” by 5 ¼”
This is as simple a Christmas card as there is to make. You use three pieces of paper a small amount of ribbon and a die cut. This is one that could be mass produced easily. and I think is very pretty.
Measurements:
I used a Real Red Card base 8 ½” by 5 ½’ scored and folded at 4 ¼”
then a Whisper White Layering piece were 4 by 5 ¼” for the inside
A piece of Plush Poinsettia DSP 4 by 5 ¼” for the front of the card
Another Slim Line Card, and any flower stamp will do. You can find many with a matching die to make this a bit easier. Although, I have to say I don’t mind fussy cutting.
Measurements:
I used 2 Pieces of Whisper White
1) the card base 8” by 9” scored and folded at 4”, and
2) 7 ¾” by 3 1/8”
Then 4 Pieces of Mossy Meadow
1) 8” by 3 ¼”
2) 8 ¾” by 3 ½”
3) ½” by 8 ¾” and
4) ½” by 3 ¼”
and finally 1 Piece of Soft Seafoam 7 ¾” by 3 1/8”
