More embossing on Foil Paper, I seem to be addicted. Those trees are just so beautiful. I think this card could easily transition to a birthday card as well. The design is very simple and an easy card to make. I hope you give it a try.
Measurements for today’s Card:
I used a Real Red card base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 pieces of Pretty Peacock 4” by 5 ¼”
Next a 4 1/8″ by 4 1/8″ piece of Brass Foil
and finally a Piece of Whisper White Cardstock 3 ¾” by 5” for the inside
I love this card, and used it for my son’s Birthday this month. This was the perfect excuse to use those corner pieces and slides, and I really like the way this one turned out. I appear to be a little obsessed with the use of embossing folders on foil, LOL.
Measurements for todays card:
I used a Pretty Peacock card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, which is scored and folded at 41/4″
Then I used 2 pieces of Early Espresso 4” by 5 ¼”, one for the front of the card and one for the inside
I used a scrap of Champaign Foil for my focal point on the front of the card
Next an envelope from Gold Cards and Envelopes set cut to 3 3/4″ by 5″
and finally a Piece of Very Vanilla 3 ¾” by 5” for the inside
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have quetions.
I sat down to see what I could do with the Gold Cards and Envelopes and got carried away, LOL. I had so much fun with these cards. The great discovery is how spectacular the brass paper looks when it is embossed. I couldn’t be more pleased with outcome of these cards. I think with a batch or two of these cards and the laser cut paper, a good portion of your Christmas Cards could be taken care of.
Measurements:
I used the Gold Cards and Envelopes pack from Stampin Up!
Or you could use Very Vanilla card bases 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
The only other thing I used was the Forever Gold Laser Cut paper.
This card was fun and I was looking forward to using the velveteen paper. The velveteen paper gives the wreath a very soft feel. I am quite happy with the result.
Measurements:
I used an Old Olive card base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”, plus one large piece of scrap for die cutting the leaves and the sentiment backing
Then 2 pieces of Soft Seafoam 4” by 5 ¼”
Next I used Scraps of Old Olive, Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink, Gorgeous Grape
and Finally 1 Piece of Highland Heather Velveteen Paper or highland heather cardstock at least 4” Square
I love the combination of Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, and Copper. I do think, however, that the front cover sheet should also be the Mint Macaron color.
Putting the card together would be easier if all of the base colors are the same (Mint Macaron), and I do love the final outcome.
Measurements:
I used a Piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock 4 ¼” by 5 ½” plus a piece of scrap for the stamping and cutting of the sentiment ( Circle Punch is 1 3/8”)
Next I used a Whisper White 3 ¾” by 6” piece, scored at 7/16”. This is where I think the card a Mint Macaron Card piece should be used instead.
I did use a piece of Whisper White 3 ¾” by 5” for the inside
Next a piece of DSP from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper cut 3 ¾” by 5 ½”, and 1 piece 5” by ¾”
Then a piece of blackberry Bliss ½” by 5”
and a piece of Copper Foil 1” by 3 ¾”
Lastly scraps of Copper, Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, and DSP
I love fall cards, and this one is no exception. This Gilded Autumn Paper, and the leaves are just beautiful. I especially am fond of the fall colors.
Measurements:
I used a Very Vanilla card base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”, plus a piece of scrap for the stamping and cutting of the sentiment
Next I used a piece of Cajun Craze 4” by 5 ¼” , for the inside of the card
Then 1 additional piece of Very Vanilla 3 ¾” by 5”, also for the inside of the card
I used 1 piece of DSP from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper for the front of the card
and finally I used scraps of some combination of Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider, and copper for the punch pack cut outs
