This is one of my Fast and Beautiful Cards. This series is meant to help you make a card in just a few minutes. The card can be put together in minutes, because the Designer Series Paper does most of the design work. The sentiment is stamped right on the DSP. This card is fast, fast, fast!
I used a Gorgeous Grape Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½“ scored and folded at 4 ¼“. I used a layer of Basic Black 4″ by 5 1/4″ for layering. On the front I used a piece of DSP 3 3/4 by 5, a small strip 1″ by 3 3/4″ of the reverse side of the DSP and cut 2 flowers from the same paper for my embellishment. I used an additional piece of Whisper White 3 ¾ “ by 5” for the inside.
Following are the few pieces used to make this card.
This is a fun way to use up scraps or create a color themed card. It is very easy to do.
I used a standard card base in Basic Black 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″. I mounted all of my “scraps” onto a piece of Whisper White that is 4″ by 5 1/4″ all of the scraps from the Honey Bee Specialty DSP are 1/2″ strips of paper. This was fun as the paper is patterned on both sides so there were lots of designs from which to pick. I did fussy cut out the flower on the second card and used a punch from my stash for the middle circle. There is a die that will cut that flower out for you and you could use your circle dies to get the graduated look.
