I thought i would add a back to the stash card at least monthly. We need a break every now and then from always looking at what is new. We have so many beautiful stamps and papers on hand. This is my first in the series, and I used the magnificent magnolia, from “Good Morning Magnolia”. The technique used with this card is using ink and your aqua painter to color in the flower. The pineapple punch color is a true, beautiful yellow, I love it.
I used a Whisper White Card Base, 8 ½” by 5 ½“ scored and folded at 4 ¼“. I then used 2 additional pieces of Whisper White 3 ¾ “ by 5”, and 2 Pieces of Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock 4″ by 5 1/4″ in green for my background layer.
I do so appreciate your stopping by. Let me know if you have questions.
Here are my February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards. There are five cards this month
In addition to the material supplied in the kit, I used Whisper White and Petal Pink Card Bases along with a bit of Rococo Rose Cardstock and the coordinating free stamp set ‘Happy Birthday To You’ from Sale A Bration.
This is a clean and simple Get Well Card. The technique used on this one is masking. I stamped and fussy cut a whole poppy from a post it note, and used it to cover the full poppy stamped on the card. I then used my mask over the full poppy and stamped the other flowers. This process makes the second flowers appear to be behind the full flower. moving the mask back slightly from the edge gives a perfect stamp. Watch the Video for a complete demonstration of the technique.
The base for this card is Poppy Parade Card cut at 8 ½” by 5 ½“ scored and folded at 4 ¼“. I used 2 pieces of Whisper White cut at 3 ¾ “ by 5” and 2 pieces of Basic Black 4 by 5 ¼ “. This was the layering used for both the inside and outside of the card.
Following are the products used to make the card. Click on any picture and it will take you to my store to order.
