Here are my seven Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards for January 2020.
Following is the video for my Alternative Cards. In addition to the kit supplies I used a few Whisper White, Mint Macaron and Rococo Rose, Card Bases and Inks.
Because of the Stamp Set for this one you can have an unlimited number of hearts and designs. This one was great fun with which to work.
This is a very special Birthday Card. It is definitely a little on the “fiddly” side, but I think well worth the time and effort.
I I could hardly wait to get my hands on this set. I am a gardener and this one is ‘right up my alley’. This is the way I want my garden to look.
I used many markers to color all of the elements of this card. I didn’t want to use the Stampin’ Blends and have the colors bleed through. The markers worked beautifully. This is a lovely project and I am so pleased with the result.
This makes me impatient for spring and summer and gardens small and large to spring up all around the city. I love the fragrances, the color, the birds and the butterfly’s.
I used lots of Whisper White Cardstock for this card. The Base is 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/2″. The Brick wall, the gate, the arch and the inside layer are all Whisper White. Also the cut flowers, the cat, the birds and the sentiment are all Whisper White. I did use old olive for the leaves cascading down and climbing up the wall.
The Wall is 3 34″ by 5″ and the inside layer is 4 by 5 1/4″, all of the other pieces are cut from scrap Whisper White and Old Olive.
The markers used to color the flowers and leaves include Real Red, Melon Mambo, Pineapple Punch, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Smokey Slate.
Back in November 2019 when I was attending the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Las Vegas, ‘SU’ gifted two stamp sets to a group of demonstrators. They were then asked to find someone in the room to further gift one of those stamp sets. I was the lucky recipient of the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set, from Jackie Rosemond from Mansfield, Texas. Here is a picture of Jackie presenting me with this beautiful Stamp set.
I promised Jackie then, that I would make a card for her using this stamp set and send it to her. Well, I finally got that done and here is the card.
I will be sending this off to Jackie in the next few days and thought I would share the card with you.
I stamped this very large stamp, using Momento Ink two times and colored in the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends and cut them out of one of the panels. I used Stampin Blends light and dark for, Real Red, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch and Mango Melody. I sponged the background of the first panel in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green, and raised the flower cut out on dimensionals. The sentiment stamp is from Daisy Delight. The outside front panel is 4 1/8″ by 5 3/8″. The card is on a standard base 8 1/2″ by 5 1/3″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
