This is a fun fold that I have not seen before. My Team Member and friend Sandy brought this design to my attention. I think it is a very interesting little card. Perhaps to make it stand we should attach one of those attached stands like we did on the Nested Friends card from a couple of weeks ago. Any Designer Series Paper will work with this one and this is another where you get a great look at both sides of the paper. I don’t know if I would make a bunch of these because they use most of a 12 X 12 piece of DSP. But for a special card with a big punch I would definitely make this
Here is a look at the inside:
Measurements and supplies for today’s Fun Fold Thank You Card:
Basic White cardstock for the card base cut 4 ¼ ” by 5 ½”, a piece 3 ¾” by 5” for layering on the inside of the card, plus a small piece 2 ¼” Square.
1 piece of DSP cut 6 ½” by 7 ¾”
The March 2023 Paper Pumpkin was a fun project for me. I made 6 cards, and while the colors were a little crazy, I liked them. I also was pretty pleased with the designs, I did use mostly the material that came with the kit. I did make a bit of my own DSP with three colors of ink and a few of the stamps I really like the way that card came out.
Because this was the 10 year Anniversary for the Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin there was an additional Stamp set in the kit, a nice bonus.
Thanks for stopping by. Let me know if you have questions.
Stampin Up Supplies:
In addition to the kit supplies I used Basic White, Coastal Cabana, Shaded Spruce Card Stock
I also used Coastal Cabana, Shaded Spruce and Momento tuxedo Black Ink
In the video on this one I called this paper Floral Country Lane, I meant Fancy Flora DSPThis card is so simple and I just love the colors and pattern on this DSP. I love it when, when you need a fast card and you know that the Designer Series Paper is pretty enough to carry the design. I think this one qualifies. I think this would make a beautiful sympathy card as well.
Here is a look at the inside of the card.
Measurements and supplies for today’s Fancy Flora Thank You Card:
I used Soft Suede for the card base cut 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”.,
I used a piece of Soft Succulent for layering on the front of the card 4” by 5 ¼”
Then a piece of Very Vanilla 4” by 5 ¼” for layering on the inside of the card.
I used two pieces of Fancy Flora DSP, cut 3 ¾” by 5” for the front of the card and a strip 5/8” by 5 to add to the inside of the card.
