This is a Back to your Stash project. I have thoroughly enjoyed these projects, this bundle and paper combination is so pretty, I am glad to return to it for this card. I love Calypso Coral and this card is so reminiscent of Spring, and I am so ready for green things and flowers.
Here is a look at the card open. This is a simple and easy Fun Fold.
Measurements and Supplies for todays, “Back to your Stash, Sweet as a Peach, Z Fold, Birthday Card” I used:
A Pear Pizazz Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, and 2 1/8” and a piece 8 ½” by 1” Scored and folded at 4 ¼” and 2 1/8” for the Z Fold Band Piece and a small piece of scrap to back the sentiment. I used Sweet as a Peach 12″ by 12″ DSP for the second mat of the sentiment that was 2 pieces 3” by 2 ½”. The other measurements for the DSP include a piece 2” by 5 ¼” for the front, 2 pieces for the inside ½” by 5 ¼”. And finally, 3 pieces for the Z Fold Band 1, 1” by 4”, and 2 pieces 1” by 1 7/8”.
Thanks so much for stopping by, let me know if you have questions.
This one was another Challenging Kit, I don’t do cute! I came up with 6 Cards and several of the designs can easily be used for other cards and sentiments. In the end I was pretty pleased with this one given I didn’t use most of the animal representations. I did use 1/2 of the elephant for a child’s card.
I did like the color combinations with the exception of the Fresh Freesia, It didn’t really seem to go with any of the other color choices. Several of the designs could easily repeat with all of the color choices, for instance the Card #1 Design. Since we had material from card bases and envelopes you could make quite a few cards with this kit successfully.
In addition to the Kit supplies, I used
Basic White Card bases, some Rich Razzlebarry Cardstock, and Artisty Blooms self adhesive sequins, Soft Succulent Ink and a bit of linen twine.
You will have to let me know what you think and if you have any questions
This card is real different for me, but I like it. It is definitely one that can be appropriate to use as a masculine design. Although, I believe it would resonate with anyone living near the ocean. I love the Colors of the Blue Foils. I think this one will be fun to figure out more designs. This one is an early Release of the Upcoming New Annual Catalog so it it appeals to you is a good one to get, it will be around for a year after the new catalog is published in June. I love the birds with this die set as well.
