I love this Stamp set. Since I had vellum on my desk, this is the next card I came up with. This card would be quite bright if the vellum sat on a white background a bit like the inside of the card. Over Stampin any dark color flower would work. It would be interesting with Gorgeous Grape for instance. I suppose one could also use multiple colors for the flowers. That could be quite interesting.

Hi and welcome to my blog. This is about adding Gilded Leafing Embellishments to your cards. I show several techniques that I have found useful and do not make a huge mess. I understand the the Gilded Leafing Elements will be back in stock this week. These cards were fun to make. Some people have commented that it doesn’t look much different from embossing. I think there is a difference. The gilding is rougher, it has more texture and has more shine. Along with the alcohol blend technique, the gilding makes very different cards. I think, very pretty cards.
Measurements for today’s Cards using Gilded Leafing Embellishment The Card Bases are Whisper White and are cut 8 ½” by 5 ½” Scored at 4 ¼”. I made the alcohol sheets 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″, so a quarter sheet each. Then I used Versa Mark and Heat and Stick Powder to adhere the gilding.
