Another Slim Line Card, and any flower stamp will do. You can find many with a matching die to make this a bit easier. Although, I have to say I don’t mind fussy cutting.
Measurements:
I used 2 Pieces of Whisper White
1) the card base 8” by 9” scored and folded at 4”, and
2) 7 ¾” by 3 1/8”
Then 4 Pieces of Mossy Meadow
1) 8” by 3 ¼”
2) 8 ¾” by 3 ½”
3) ½” by 8 ¾” and
4) ½” by 3 ¼”
and finally 1 Piece of Soft Seafoam 7 ¾” by 3 1/8”
This one is about the layout of the card as much as it is about the card itself. This design lends itself easily to any occasion and just about any sentiment. This could easily be a masculine card with non-floral paper. I erroneously stated that the stamp set I used for my first card was retired, it definitely is not. The Stamp Set Positive Thoughts is not retired. It is, in fact a lovely set and order-able.
Measurements:
1 Whisper White card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½” scored and folded at 4 ¼”
1 Pieces of Whisper White 3 ¾” by 8 ¾”
3 pieces of 6” X 6” Sheet Flowers for Every Season DSP4 1 cut at 4 1/8” by 5 2/8”, 1 cut at 5 3/8” by 2” and one cut at 5/8” by 3 ¾”
This was a fun card to put together. I love the Idea of the slim line card to show off the Christmas tree. There are so many things we can do with a card this size.
Here are some of the cuts used to make this card:
The first cut of the 6″by 6″ piece in half at 3 inches.
Next cut the first tree cut from the 3″ by 6″ half
Cut the other 3″ by 6″ piece in half and cut a tree from the middle of one half. This piece goes in the center of the tree above from the reverse side.
Cut the 3 by 6 inch piece in half, so you have two pieces 1 1/2″ by 6″ and cut a tree from each half. These little off cuts can also be used on either side of the Tree.
Continue until you have as many “trees” as you want to build your final tree, until you have this:
or this
Thanks for stopping by, let me know if you have questions.
Measurements:
I used a Real Red card Base 8” by 9” scored and folded at 4”
then 1 Pieces of Whisper White 3 ¾” by 8 ¾”
and finally 1 piece of 6” X 6” Sheet of ‘Tis the Season’ DSP, see the cuts above
