Isn’t this paper just beautiful? I love anything with lots of leaves and birds. Surprisingly the tripod card stands pretty steadily. I do like the lighter bird and the second card generally.
Measurements:
I used a Whisper White Card Base 4 ¼” by 11” , scored and folded at 5 ½”, plus scrap for your Stamping the sentiment and bird
Then I used 2 Pieces of Forever Greenery DSP 4 ¼” by 5” and 1 ½” by 4 ¼” for the inside
I also used 2 Pieces of Garden Green 4 ¼” by 1 ½” and 4 ¼” by 3 7/8”, plus scrap for 2 Circle Branches
1 piece of Misty Moonlight 4 ¼” by 1 ½”
I think I will do some version of this one as a Christmas card. Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, this one was fun. I love the flower stamp and how big and bold it is. I used a technique of adding a second color to the edges of the flower petals with a sponge dauber. This is a lovely way to add more dimension on any stamped image. The splatter used here gives the card some texture.
Measurements:
Pear Pizzazz card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
2 Pieces of Highland Heather 4” by 5 ¼”
2 Pieces of Whisper White 3 ¾ ” by 5”
I finally used several pieces of scrap to cut paper for my sentiment and backing material.
I have enjoyed making cards for this series, it definitely makes me think. I think the hardest card to make is the simple first card. It is so much easier to keep adding layers and depth, and difficult to make it simple and easy. It is counter intuitive, but true. Mother nature doesn’t worry about colors matching, so neither did I. I love the outcome on this one.
Measurements: Card 1: Shimmer White card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Card 2: Whisper White card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, and 1 piece 4” by 5 ¼”
Basic Black 4 1/8” by 5 3/8”
Card 3: Whisper White card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, and 2 pieces 3 ¾ ” by 5”
2 pieces Rococo Rose 4” by 5 ¼”
