These are not normally my colors, but I just loved this kit. I had so much fun and I am sure you could come up with a few more designs yourself. I have seen one where the lemon was turned into a fish with the leaves acting as a tail and fins, lol! It is such a cheery set to work with.
In addition to the kit, I used complimentary card stock colors for bases. I also used the envelopes in the card front designs.
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it. Let me know if you have questions.
This card was created as part of a SWAP challenge for my Ingenuity Inker’s team. It was fun to create and imagine a new way to use the doily. I am really pleased with the outcome on this one.
Measurements:
I started with a Petal Pink Card base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
then I used a piece of Gray Granite 4” by 5 ¼”, for the inside of the card
a piece Peony Garden DSP, Gray Pattern 4” by 5 ¼”, for the front of the card
and a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 3” by 3” to back the doily
Scrap Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite for the sentiment
and finally a square cut from another doily for my decoration near the sentiment
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to let me know if you have questions.
I just love peonies some of the ones in my garden are this color, I also have soft pink and some that are almost raspberry color. This die set appears complicated, but it is not. In the video on this card I give detail step by step instructions on just how to put the die pieces together with stunning results. This is a great congratulations card anyone would be thrilled to receive. The gold laser cut piece adds a touch of elegance to the card.
Measurements:
Melon Mambo Card base 11” 4 ¼”, scored and folded at 5 ½”
2 pieces Blushing Bride 4” by 5 ¼”, one for the inside and one for the front of the card
One panel from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
Scrap Melon Mambo for the Peony, Scrap Old Olive & Scrap Mossy Meadow for the leaves,
and a small piece of yellow for the flower stamen
I love the result on this one. Be sure to let me know if you have questions.
