Last one! This is the last of my Feels Like Frost, non holiday, cards. I made this one a simple thanks card. Picking out the various colors for complimentary cardstock was fun, and I am pleased with the result.
Following are the Measurements for today’s Feels Like Frost Thanks Card:
I used a Whisper White Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then I used 2 Pieces of Blackberry Bliss the first is 4” by 5 ¼”, the second is 3 ¾” by 5”
Plus scrap for die cutting the leaves
Next, 2 Pieces of Rococo Rose, the first is 4” by 5 ¼”, the second is 3” by 5”
plus scrap for die cutting the leaves
Some Scrap Misty Moonlight for the blue leaves
Finally, 1 piece of Feels Like Frost DSP 2 ¾” by 4 ¾”
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Let me know if you have questions.
We have had a virtual Convention this last week with Stampin’ Up!
There were over 10,000 demonstrators from around the world participating. Many of the members of my wonderful team were able to participate as well. The company used the Zoom Platform, and there were sneak peeks into the new upcoming catalog and once again some beautiful papers and stamp sets are coming your way. This week I will have the chance to join some networking sessions with some of those demonstrators. I am so excited, I always learn new things and get great new ideas from this amazing and generous community. I will let you all know about the connections I make and new things I have learned.
Because I was able to attend, I put in an order for some of these amazing new products and they are on their way. I can hardly wait to share them with you. I so love that I get a chance to see things early and work with them ahead of their release. I feel an online card class coming with more than one of these wonderful bundles.
We made cards with a new Bundle from the Spring – January to June Catalog, A Mega Suite Called Dandy Garden. We used one of the bundles from that group called Dragon Fly Garden Bundle, Which Includes a Stamp Set, a Dual Dragon Fly Punch, some beautiful DSP, Ribbon, and Lady Bug Embellishments to make a few cards. The paper is very attractive I can already tell this is going to be a favorite.
I have an upcoming video where I will display more of the amazing paper, ribbon and projects from this new bundle.
Another non traditional card, using Feels Like Frost, Designer Series Paper. This friend card could easily be a birthday card, or a sympathy, or thank you and could probably be used any time of the year. I think the greens and purples combinations are my absolute favorites, they look so rich together.
I made the second card with a bit longer front flap, and I liked that design a bit better. It felt more finished to me.
Measurements for today’s Feels Like Frost Friend Card:
I used a Gorgeous Grape Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”,
then I cut 1 ¼” off of one end to make a shorter card front.
Then I used 2 Pieces of Feels Like Frost DSP 2 ¼” by 5”, and 1” by 5 ¼”
1 piece of Soft Sea Foam 3 ¾” by 5”,
and finally 1 piece of Highland Heather 2 ½” by 5 ¼”, plus a piece of scrap to die cut my sentiment
Working with this paper again was great fun. I made several cards last year with this beautiful Paper. It also felt good to take a break from making Christmas Cards. This little Birthday Card is simple and I think very attractive, I love working with Misty Moonlight. This color is just so pretty. The Metallic Mesh Ribbon is unusual, pretty, and easy to work with. I was looking for an excuse to use it. This card could easily transition to a Christmas Card as well, just change the sentiment!
Measurements for today’s First Frost Birthday Card:
I used a Whisper White Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 Pieces of Misty Moonlight 4” by 5 ¼”
1 piece of Whisper White 3 ¾” by 5”
and finally 1 piece of first Frost DSP 3 ¾” by 5”
This paper can be quite versatile, I hope you give this a try. Thanks for stopping by.
Last year’s beautiful plaids were among my favorites. So, the Best Builder Plaid Dies gave me the opportunity to recreate one of my favorites. This card is fun and quite simple. An all Die Cut Card is not the norm for me, but I am quite pleased with the result. Because there are so many dies I would suggest that you use our Adhesive Sheets #152334. Using those sheets would make assembly of this card a breeze, especially if you are making more than one of them.
Following are the measurements for today’s Blue and Green Plaid Christmas Card:
I used a Night of Navy Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 Pieces of Green Foil cardstock, one – cut 4 ¼” by 5 ½”, and one cut 4” by 5 ¼”
Next I used 1 Pieces of Gold Foil Paper 4 ¼” by 5 ½”
Plus a piece large enough to cut out the stars 4 ¼ by 1 ¾” and some scrap to cut any additional stars
1 small piece of Red Foil Paper to cut out your sentiment and a few stars
Finally, 1 piece of Whisper White cut 3 ¾” by 5” for the inside of the card
This card is just so festive, I hope you give it a try. Let me know if you have any questions.
