I so love the paper in this DSP. Copper used with this paper is just stunning, I just don’t tire of using it. This simple fold, whether as a Z fold or not, is just a classic beauty.
Measurements for today’s Brightly Gleaming Mossy Meadow Christmas Card:
I used a Mossy Meadow Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 pieces of Brightly Gleaming DSP,
the first is 4” by 5 ¼”,
the second is 2 7/8″ by 5 1/4″,
plus a piece of scrap for backing the sentiment
Next 1 Piece of Very Vanilla 3″ Square for the inside of the card
and a piece of scrap to cut your sentiment
Finally, 1 piece of Copper Foil sufficient to back the sentiment using the second largest Stitched Nested Label die
This lovely card is the result of my team SWAP for November. The Color Challenge was Petal Pink, Gray Granite and Pretty Peacock. Well, that color combination just screamed the Prized Peony Suite to me. This one was fun to design, and useful for almost any occasion. It seems that I need ‘Thank You’, ‘Note Cards’, and ‘Thinking of you Cards’ right now. I am committed to sending out a small handful of cards every week, to keep in touch with a ton of people, and I am going through my stash.
Never a naked envelope! I frequently stamp or somehow decorate my envelopes but don’t always show it in my videos. This time I did, what do you think? Should I show this more often?
Following are the measurements for today’s Prized Peony Thanks Thanks Card:
I used a Grey Granite Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then 2 Pieces of Pretty Peacock both 4” by 5 ¼”, for layering inside and on the front of the card
plus a strip for the front of the card 5 ¼” by ¾”
Also 1 Pieces of Petal Pink 3 ¾” by 5”, for the inside of the card
Prized Peony DSP from which to cut my flowers
And Finally, 1 piece of Peony Garden DSP 3 ¾” by 5”, for the card front
Thanks for Stopping by and be sure to let me know if you have questions.
Well, this was fun, getting my hands on new products is always a plus. The New Dragon Fly Suite is one of my favorites, and the paper is really beautiful. One of the new products I forgot to show are the new blending brushes. I ordered a set of three, and can hardly wait to use them. Another ‘Sale A Bration’ free paper is an Ombre style that I forgot to show, I will show them in an upcoming video. There were also some new gems that are gold and red.
Overall, I think you will love the material in the upcoming January to June Mini Catalog, and the Sale A Bration Catalog. If you do not receive catalogs, please let me know, I am always happy to send them. Who doesn’t love looking through a great catalog. If you are a customer of mine and have placed an order since March of this year you will receive a catalog automatically from me. Catalogs will be in the mail starting on the 9th of December, so keep an eye out.
I made a few featured Cards using the Dragon Fly Garden Suite. Some of thee cards were made during out virtual convention and a few I made using the material I received. the coordinating colors are:
Mossy Meadow
Bumblebee
Misty Moonlight
Calypso Coral

I Love sharing SWAPS. Aren’t these cards and Demonstrators Amazing! Some of these demonstrators are on my team and some are close associates with whom I have been stamping with for a couple of years. And, while many of them are local, there are plenty from all over the country. Video’s like this will be a regular feature every couple of months. The cards are a great source inspiration. The variety in style is amazing with plenty of ideas from which to draw for your own card making. I will keep adding to this post over time to show the YouTube Channels, Blogs, Facebook Pages belonging to these talented People.
I am working on a page for my blog. This page will show members of my team and how to learn more about them. I will include information about how to reach them if you are looking for a demonstrator around the corner from you, across the country. They are a lovely community of like minded paper crafters who are all quite talented. More to come.
These are SWAPS for the last couple of months from my Stampin’ Up! demonstrator world.
