I don’t usually make cards with critters, etc. but plan to use some of these for my Grandson. With the additional cards following these first 6 there are a couple that are less juvenile. For the video I did make 6 cards, but just couldn’t stop. So there are two additional cards that I show here that are pretty easy to make. Here are the first 6 cards, these are the ones covered in the video: The next two have measurements and descriptions.
In addition to the kit supplies I used A2 card bases in Thick Basic White 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″. I also used a bit of Pool Party Ink.
Following are the last two I made.
I used a Thick Basic White Card Base and layered a piece of Basic Black 4″ by 5 1/4 then used the little flower stamp and stamped in Momento Black all over a piece 3 3/4″ by 4″ and colored in the flowers using my markers. I also used the tiny hello stamp to fill in in Basic Black. I used a strip of black 4″ by 3/4″, with the black and white ribbon on either side. The sentiment is simple on a small piece of white on the black strip. The inside has a Basic Black layer 4″ by 5 1/4″ and a white layer over that that is 3 3/4″ by 5″, more stamped and colored flowers. and a strip of the black and white ribbon on the side. I think this is a very cheery little card.
This card is on a Thick Basic White Cardstock Base 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″. Then I used the inside of one of the kit card bases with the gradient blue background. On this card piece I used the kite stem to make flower stems used my marker to “draw in” a few leaves and draw and cut out a couple more. I stamped the sun stamp on some of the envelope paper and used my blender pen to tease out some sun flower leaves in the sun rays to make sun flowers and used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede for the inner markings of the flower. I then fussy cut out the home made Sun Flowers and added them to the stems on the front of the card. The inside has a balmy Blue layer 4″ by 5 1/4″ then a layer of white 3 3/4″ by 5″ with and additional sun flower and a few leaves in one of the corners.
Thanks so much for Stopping by. Let me know if you have questions.
