This is such a fun fold, and with the curvy dies, easy as pie. I love different, and this one is just plain fun. With your decoration and detail on the belly band a pretty simple card to make. This was my first chance to play with the Peach suite and I love the flowers and greenery. Generally speaking I am not much for fruit stamps, but this one appeals to me.
This suite has so many possibilities. There is definitely a trick to stamping and then using the dies to cut out the images. These stamps are photopolymer and so a bit ‘stretchy’ they can be easily pulled “out of shape” making it more difficult for die cutting. Be careful loading these stamps on your blocks.
Following are the Measurements and Supplies for today’s Fun Fold Peach Suite Friend Card.
- I used a Calypso Coral Base measuring 8 ½” by 5 ½” Scored and folded at 2 1/8” on each side
- Then 2 additional pieces of Calypso Coral 1 piece 4 ¼” by 5 ½” and 1 piece 5 ½” by 4 1/8”
- Next 3 Pieces of the “You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper”,
- first a piece cut 3 ¾” by 5 1/4”,
- a piece cut 9 ½” by 1 ½”,
- and 1 piece ½” by 5”
- A piece of Basic White cut 3 ¾” by 5” and a large piece of scrap to stamp the flowers peaches and sentiment.
