For many of us the popsicle and watermelon cards just aren’t out style. So I went a bit far afield with my alternatives this month. I will have to say I like them a lot. I do love the challenge that the Paper Pumpkin kits give me each month. I can usually come up with something that I am happy with. These cards just say summertime to me. I hope you like them.
In addition to the Kit supplies, I used:
Thick Basic White Bases measuring 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”
I used pieces of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee and Terracotta Tile
I did use some basic black cardstock, Old Olive cardstock and some of our black sparkle ribbon
I used some small pieces of scrap of both the Terracotta Tile and Old Olive
This lovely little card is such a simple design and yet so pretty. I originally found this card on the blog for Tina Zinck out of Nova Scotia, Canada. We made this card in my team as a our mystery card project for April. It was a big hit. it is a pocket card and the insert comes completely out. This is a fun one, I hope you will give it a try
Following are the Measurements and Supplies for today’s Fun Fold Note Card.:
I used a Highland Heather Base measuring 11 by 4 ¼”, scored and folded at 5 ½” and 1 ¼” from one end
Next 2 Pieces of the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, first a piece cut 3 ¼” by 4” and a piece cut 1” by 4”
Then 1 piece of So Saffron one piece 4” by 5 ¼”
and one piece of Basic White cut 3 ¾” by5”
You will need a small piece of scrap of both the So Saffron and Basic White for the sentiment
Thanks so much for stopping by. Let me know if you need help or I can answer a question.
Oh my gosh, isn’t this paper just beautiful. I designed this card to create note cards for my daughter in law, Julia. Julia is about all things Art Deco, I think she is going to like these. I thought ofsetting this design made the card more interesting. Such a simple and easy card with such a big impact.
