Well I finally got to meet my first Grandson, Henry this last week. What a Joy! I plan to be the Grandmother in charge of adventures!! Here are a few pictures of my amazing family.

You would think Henry was mugging for the Camera on a few of these. I had the opportunity to take him to our beautiful Botanic Gardens, a good outdoor, safe outing. The number of people in the Gardens are restricted and there are so many paths and wonderful things to experience. It was a lovely time. My son and I also took him to the Zoo, I think that trip was more for us than for Henry, LOL. He is a wonderful baby with a great disposition and he has a smile for everyone. I am in heaven.
I have just having a blast with this Poinsettia Suite, it makes the prettiest cards. I think when I put these in the mail I will use some of our Acetate Card Boxes so that the poinsettias will hold their shape. Using the Subtles embossing Folder on the Foils produces the most dramatic results, I love using this technique.
Here are the measurements for today’s White and Gold Christmas Card:
I used a Whisper White Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, plus scrap to cut the poinsettia pieces and the sentiment.
Next 2 additional pieces of Whisper White cut 3 ¾” by 5” one for the inside and one for the front of the card
Then 1 piece of Pear Pizzazz 4” by 5 ¼”, plus scrap to cut the large poinsettia flower piece for the leaves of the flower
Last of all I used several pieces of Gold Foil:
4” by 5 ¼”,
1 piece 1” by 5”,
1 piece ¾” by 4”,
and a piece of scrap for your sentiment backing and the middle set of leaves from the poinsettia flower

This Blue and Silver theme for Christmas is one of my favorites, and I love the monochromatic style of card. This card has everything flowers, dimension, bling, texture and a simple statement. These are all elements of cards that I think are the ones I love making. Other than a bit of die cutting this one is not difficult at all. I hope you give it a try for someone special this Holiday Season.
Measurements for today’s Blue and Silver Christmas Card:
I used a Seaside Spray Card Base 8 ½” by 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
plus one piece 3 ¾” by 5” for the inside of the card
Then I used 2 Pieces of Night of Navy 4” by 5 ¼”
Next a large piece of Seaside Spray to die cut the poinsettia detail and prepare the sentiment
and lastly a piece of Silver scrap to die cut the small poinsettias and the berries
