This is such a fun fold, and with the curvy dies, easy as pie. I love different, and this one is just plain fun. With your decoration and detail on the belly band a pretty simple card to make. This was my first chance to play with the Peach suite and I love the flowers and greenery. Generally speaking I am not much for fruit stamps, but this one appeals to me.
This suite has so many possibilities. There is definitely a trick to stamping and then using the dies to cut out the images. These stamps are photopolymer and so a bit ‘stretchy’ they can be easily pulled “out of shape” making it more difficult for die cutting. Be careful loading these stamps on your blocks.
Following are the Measurements and Supplies for today’s Fun Fold Peach Suite Friend Card.
I used a Calypso Coral Base measuring 8 ½” by 5 ½” Scored and folded at 2 1/8” on each side
Then 2 additional pieces of Calypso Coral 1 piece 4 ¼” by 5 ½” and 1 piece 5 ½” by 4 1/8”
Next 3 Pieces of the “You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper”,
first a piece cut 3 ¾” by 5 1/4”,
a piece cut 9 ½” by 1 ½”,
and 1 piece ½” by 5”
A piece of Basic White cut 3 ¾” by 5” and a large piece of scrap to stamp the flowers peaches and sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Let me know if you have questions.
This card is a variation on the Dutch Door Card, there are many variations. It is perfectly suited to a large dimensional flower focal image like the pansy in this card. I love the Shimmer Vellum Cardstock, it dresses up the card beautifully. I put the Happy Birthday sentiment for this card on the inside on the left, which leaves plenty of room to write a sentiment.
Building the Pansy from the die pieces takes a bit of time in that there are quite a few pieces. I think the leaves and the bud really add something to this card. I have pansies just about in these colors in my yard. Some people say that there is the face of a grumpy old man in the center of this flower, what do you think?
Following are the Measurements and Supplies for today’s Pansy Birthday Card Card:
I used a Basic White Base measuring 8 ½” by 5 ½” Scored and folded at 4 ¼”
Then a piece 3 ¼” by 4 ½” and scrap sufficient to cut out the sentiment
Next 2 pieces of Evening Evergreen Shimmer Vellum 1 piece 4” by 5 ¼” and 1piece 4” by 3 ¼”
Some Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum sufficient to cut out the pansy flower petals
You will need a small piece of scrap of Evening Evergreen Soft Succulent, to cut out the leaves.
Finally The Detail on the flower petals was cut from a piece of scrap Blackberry Bliss

For many of us the popsicle and watermelon cards just aren’t out style. So I went a bit far afield with my alternatives this month. I will have to say I like them a lot. I do love the challenge that the Paper Pumpkin kits give me each month. I can usually come up with something that I am happy with. These cards just say summertime to me. I hope you like them.
In addition to the Kit supplies, I used:
Thick Basic White Bases measuring 8 ½” by 5 ½” , scored and folded at 4 ¼”
I used pieces of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee and Terracotta Tile
I did use some basic black cardstock, Old Olive cardstock and some of our black sparkle ribbon
I used some small pieces of scrap of both the Terracotta Tile and Old Olive
This lovely little card is such a simple design and yet so pretty. I originally found this card on the blog for Tina Zinck out of Nova Scotia, Canada. We made this card in my team as a our mystery card project for April. It was a big hit. it is a pocket card and the insert comes completely out. This is a fun one, I hope you will give it a try
Following are the Measurements and Supplies for today’s Fun Fold Note Card.:

Next 2 Pieces of the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, first a piece cut 3 ¼” by 4” and a piece cut 1” by 4”
